Pakistan’s Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has achieved more in 41 months than any Prime Minister or Army Chief of Pakistan has achieved in 78 years. Celebrations are underway across Pakistan and throughout the Pakistani diaspora around the world to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, with pride and patriotism, said Shazada Hayat President UICF (UK) and international community welfare campaigner.

This glorious victory by Pakistan’s armed forces over India began on 7 May 2025, when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered a large-scale military attack on Pakistan without warning. The attack, was backed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, involving missile strikes, killing innocent civilians, which led to one of the largest Indian Air Force operations seen in modern warfare.

Shazada Hayat said, Pakistan’s armed forces, under the command of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, responded with a devastating and befitting counterattack that shocked the Indian leadership and military command.

The conflict saw one of the largest fighter jet engagements in history since the Battle of Britain during the Second World War. Pakistan’s JF17 Thunder supported by F16 fighter jets took on India’s Rafale aircraft in an air battle that surprised military analysts around the world. The response of Pakistan’s Air Force under the command of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, was phenomenal and unprecedented, one of the greatest air combat victories of modern times.

Shazada Hayat went on to say, The celebrations taking place this week, throughout Pakistan and also by the Pakistan diaspora throughout the world, is one of greatest and proudest moments in Pakistan’s history. Three of the greatest days in Pakistan calendar in history are the 14 August, marking the creation of Pakistan by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The second greatest date is Youm-e-Takbeer, commemorating the achievements of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, who helped make Pakistan the world’s only nuclear Muslim military superpower. The third is the period from 7 to 10 May, remembered as Marka-e-Haq described as Pakistan’s greatest military victory over its enemy, under the command of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

These three remarkable legendry figures have secured a permanent place in Pakistan’s glorious history. Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the creator of the nation, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is described as the protector who gave Pakistan nuclear strength, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is the nation’s greatest defender and one of the world’s most formidable commanders-in-chief. These three heroes and legends of the nation, have shown the world that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation, but still is very much capable of defending itself under any circumstances, come what may. Shazada Hayat said, The supreme commander of Pakistanhas also emerged as a major peacemaker on the world stage, by helping to prevent further escalation between the United States and Iran war for nearly a month. This is an achievement that global institutions including the United Nations, NATO, the European Union, Russia, China, and Middle Eastern countries have failed to accomplish. The conflict between the United States and Iran threatens to escalate into a global war with severe economic consequences for the world.
